This spot hit differently this trip... it's as great, comforting and well executed food as always. This trip was just after the passing of my step-dad and it engulfed me in all the feels and as usual it was like coming home. And shockingly my carnivore boyfriend raved about the veggie omelet! Thanks for the memories.

Really good experience for breakfast. HIGHLY recommend the homemade breads--especially the wheat with seeds!!! We were about to gravitate toward our usual rye choice but went with the homemades---best decision. Friendly. Great history behind the establishment. Highly recommend. Skillet (cajun) was really good and the scrambled eggs were also good. You can't go wrong.

It’s a cool spot, but the berry pancakes I had weren’t very good. They obviously just dumped old frozen fruit into the pancakes right from the freezer because the area around the berries was not fully cooked and the berries tasted bad.
