Awesome home cooked Mexican food. Cool atmosphere and the margaritas weren’t bad😎

Hidden in an alley behind The Anchor with no visible sign from the street. Good menu options. Very cute decor, including 3 swings for bar seating.

Our Airbnb host recommended this place and the food and drinks were great!

Service here was great. They were able to immediately accommodate our group of eight. I very much enjoyed the pork chimichanga with a side of queso. It was a big portion, so I was satisfied with just the chimi and some chips with some of their award winning salsa. Margarita was good too, I just wish I would have sat at the bar swing while I enjoyed it.

The food was great, I had the fajitas with seasonal (ans perhaps even regional) vegetables. It was a tad cold inside but nothing a jacket won’t fix.
They also supply you with nachos and salsa while you wait.

I love their shrimp monster burrito.

The food here is incredible. I ordered a classic margarita and I didn’t even touch it until after my meal because the food was just so good. The classic ground beef tacos are the best I’ve ever had.

Cute little place tucked away in Wilmington. Food is amazing and never disappoints. The only place my husband and I go for Mexican food. Friendly staff and great service as well.

The food was delicious. Had the steak enchiladas. The salad is reminiscent of My neighbors bread and butter pickles..
My husband had the chicken fajita and loved it. Thought the amount of rice was a little too small. My daughter had the steak burrito and left the plate clean! Coming from a 13 year old, that's a compliment. Didn't have all food options,( no pork ) and the small portion of rice equates to this place getting 4 stars.

We decided to order takeout before it got too late. The food was great, but I would add the same dressing from the flatbread to the street tacos as well.

The food was fairly good but we waited an hour for our food. It took forever.

Don’t come here if you want edible Mexican food and a good dining out experience - buying a frozen dinner is a better option. Way overpriced for what you got. I didn’t have high expectations for Mexican food in the north east but this was terrible, even for the north east. The one good thing here was the salsa. Queso was disgusting and had a weird film taste to it (also came out with the meal not before). Tequila lime shrimp appetizer, terrible all around - shrimp was flavorless, plantains were mushy from all of the shrimp sauce on top of them. Enchilada sauce was essentially spaghetti/tomato sauce. And the “monster burrito” was not that large - steak in it was very chewy. And my friend said “I wouldn’t even feed the left overs to my dog.” Our drinks were never refilled during the meal either.

The enchiladas and classic margarita were fantastic!

This place is fantastic. Extra points if you can try to take it down two to Margaritas on the swing seats.
