We bought some hot chocolate and it was the worst experience. It tasted like dirty water and the guy serving us was horrible, really xenophobic. The girl, on the other hand, was lovely and served us well.

My boyfriend and I were visiting vermont for the weekend and came here for lunch. We shared the chowder breadbowl which was delightful! And a fried chicken sandwich. I got a couple margaritas and the tiramisu martini. Our bartender was great and friendly im sorry i cant remember her name! We enjoyed everything. Thank you!

Nice cozy place to dine in. They offer gluten free buns (at an additional fee) so basically you can have few options with burgers. Fryers are not dedicated so if you are concerned with cross contamination, you won’t be able to have fries. I have celiac and tried the classic burger with a side of salad. It was tasty, and I didn’t have any issues.

The maple leaf Tavern is that classic Vermont establishment that you are looking for to get that local feel!

We came in for lunch and I was impressed by the vibe in the restaurant. The old tavern feel and decorations were nice. And to look outside, you can imagine the feel when the snow starts to fall.

For lunch we ordered the tomato soup and the onion soup. Anna our waitress made the recommendations. The soups were delicious, the onion cover been a little hotter but it was still delicious!

For lunch we got the Italian meat bowl. Heroes is amazing delicious and the fries were nice and crispy. The turkey clubs were huge and enjoyed very well. I highly recommend I will, but it was really good.

Very disappointed with our meals. The vegetables were cold. We sent them back to warm up and waited a long time. We asked why it was taking so long to heat up in a microwave and the waitress replied they don’t have one.
My pork chop was overdone and dry. On the other hand my wife’s skirt steak was done perfectly.

Very slow: it took 45 minutes to get a BLT and grilled cheese. The food was fine.
