It was 20 minutes before closing and I wanted to ask if they were still serving food or would accept a takeout order, but instead of even having the opportunity, the employee saw me crossing the street and locked the glass door with zero acknowledgement of my existence. I was literally already reaching my hand out for the door handle. So customer service seems to be lacking.

A very bad lunch. The wife and I stopped in for lunch. Both had a cup of chowder which was good. I had the chicken sandwich which was inedible...over cooked hockey puck of chicken plus very little flavor. Wife had a roast beef sandwich which was also tasteless and roast beef was dry and frankly Walmart quality. We did get my sandwich taken off the bill but still paid 17 bucks for the wife's meal. I will never go there again.

We are restaurant owners and were in town catering a wedding this weekend. The innkeeper suggested MLT and we absolutely LOVED it! We knew right away that this was our hang for the weekend. Jenny was incredibly friendly, food was fantastic and the vibe of the restaurant was right up our alley!

I had the french onion soup and it was phenomenal! I have never been to Vermont before and the server was an absolute sweetheart. My husband had the blt and the bacon was awesome. The sandwiches are huge so you will be full. I definitely want to come back to Vermont and stop by here again.

I dined here on Oct 4th. I have Celiac, so I am not able to eat gluten and if I do, it is very harmful to me as I am allergic to it. I asked the waitress a few questions about items containing gluten. I ordered a turkey burger with a gluten free bun. Upon receiving my check I saw that I was not charged the ridiculous $3.00 upcharge for a GF bun. I asked the waitress about it, she told me that she verbally told the kitchen to use a GF bun. I didn't believe that for a moment. After standing around clearly needing help, someone finally approached and asked what was going on. I explained to him the situation. He brought out their GF bun to see if it looked like what I had eaten, it was not at all what I had. I clearly had been given their gluten filled bun. No one seemed to care, eventually a woman was called over who apologized and said she would credit my card the amount of the burger. She seemed to be completely unaware and not concerned of the damage this causes to my body. This was the FIRST meal of my vacation, I spent the next 5 days in pain and unable to enjoy my trip. I have yet to receive the refund, I have sent an email and have heard nothing back. I have given them ample time to make this right. At this time I am looking into reporting them to the board of health. DO NOT EAT HERE if you have Celiac!

We were driving through Wilmington, which we do 3-4 times a year and decided to try this place for just a drink. No one greeted us at the door so we just sat down at the bar and waited for service. No one was behind the bar and we waited for a good ten minutes before someone strolled behind the bar but he was busy running food to tables and taking phone orders. Finally after about twenty minutes he took our drink order. It seemed like a nice little place but they need to hire a few more staff. The drink prices were rather high.....$20 for a beer and glass of wine. In my area these drinks would have cost $14-$15.Because of the slow service and high prices I'm not sure if we'd stop here again to try the food.

We went for lunch and there were no tables, got a bar seat, but we didnt see it was under the AC, so it was really cold. We asked for a table, they said ok, but sat bunch of people before moving us (forgot about us), and then we asked again to move to an empty table we saw, when the host asked us if we would mind sitting (sharing) with another (random) couple…
We got burgers, they were beyond overcooked, the classic one was awful. Also didnt appreciate that the host was constantly touching tips of the straws when putting them into the drink. The sodas were flat… overall not a good experience… maybe jt was one of those days and they are usually better, but for us it was bad experience
