Alright, this place is brilliant. The owner's mom, Isabelle, was there and was extremely friendly and nice to talk to. The coffee was solid. The little shop had lots of cute goods. The back room is a beautiful, restful place to sit and work with a laptop and some coffee (only would've been improved with a real fire!) But I especially want to talk about the breakfast sandwich, especially the SAMmich- one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've enjoyed. The potato rolls are made in house, the eggs are fluffy, and the salty Canadian bacon tasty. The sandwich is exceptional for the bread alone. You want it.

Came here recently in need of a spot with Wi-Fi, to have a work call in for 1-2 hours. Found what is objectively one of the nicest coffee spots I've ever been to - this was much better than we could have reasonably hoped for. To name a few of the highlights: - Massive room with plenty of tables, perfect for a shared meal or propping up a laptop for work and a coffee - Tons of coffee items to choose from - and you can get Vermont Maple Syrup in your drink of choice - Delicious lunch options too, including some insanely tasty fries and burgers If we're in the area, we'll almost certainly stop by again for a pit stop.

Really cold inside - not a good atmosphere to eat and overpriced. About $12 for two lattes. The workers were also rude and unfriendly.

Pick a burger, any burger. Honestly, their burger doesn't get enough credit. Shockingly good. Better than most.

We really enjoyed our sandwiches and chai latte. The sandwiches (Happy Hen and Shazam #2) just had so much flavor and were very fresh. We will definitely be back!

Greatness! A favorite and frequently visited spot while in town for our family ski trip. Food was delicious and the desserts were irresistible. The owner and her team were so friendly and engaging. Each visit they would help us pick something amazing to eat which I'm sure based on what we had over the course of a few days, that everything they offered has got to be so yummy. There's a cute coffee bar and retail section where we found some cute things to buy. The place had such a great cozy vibe, comfy chairs in front of the fire and big farm table. Perfect for our family. We will definitely be back next time we're in town! So grateful to have found this gem!

A Vermont must visit. Food is excellent and coffee is fantastic. Staff is always friendly and service is fast even when it is busy. I have been coming here for years and the food is consistently good. I love the Happy Hen for lunch and the 1840 breakfast sandwich in the morning. The soups change often and are always good. The owners are there often and are just as friendly as the staff. You won't be disappointed.

Stopped in for a burger after seeing some of the pics online. Smelled delicious as soon as I walked in the door. Extensive lunch and breakfast sandwich menu. I tied to look and order online ahead of time but system inactive weekends due to high foot traffic potential. No one else in line about 75 minutes before closing. Made mine the BBQ bacon cheeseburger with red onion. Went with a small side of their garlic fries as well. Ordered to go and ready within about 10 minutes. Browsed the store for the Vermont and Ski the East swag while food was prepared. Plenty of nice items and gift ideas.Made no specific request on the burger and it was cooked medium. I enjoy all beef burger that way but you like it more well done so ask. Fries were awesome. Not too salty or too much garlic. Couple of Busch N/A washed it down nicely after a day of skiing.Plenty of sit down seating. Would do it again without hesitation.

Great place for a sandwich or a burger. I especially like the dining area with large windows creating a brightly lit and comfortable place to enjoy the sandwich.

Good food and cool place, but service was a little meh and prices were pretty high.Wheelchair accessibility: Steps to get in, didn't see a ramp. Accessible bathrooms though.

Incredible place. Quite literally one of the best burgers I've ever had, and I couldn't believe how good the cajun fries were. Stellar service too in a nice comfortable atmosphere. A must try in
