“Great hidden spot in downtown Winooski. Warm greeting right at the door. Small space, which goes unnoticed by decore and service. Nice menu with a fair amount of sides. Very nice wine list. They offer wine by the glass, carafe, and bottle. Host seated us, table touching and expediting food out of the windows. Our server had the biggest smile. She was very helpful with selections and, of course, offering dessert at the end. The chicken was cooked very well. Not great potato salad. Crab did was okay. Not enough crab. Have the chocolate mousse.”

“My family and I were in town and saw online they serve halal meat so we placed a large takeout order. The process was seamless and efficient. There’s parking in the back and the person working there was friendly. The grilled beef banh mi and grilled chicken banh mi were great, as were the beef sambusas. I definitely recommend this place, especially since it’s not so common to find halal Vietnamese food.”

“Great local bar in Winooski with DJs, live music & trivia. The pizza is very good with the McMonkey & Meatball being my favorites. They serve a good slice of cheese as well. We go almost every Monday for the trivia with Craig Mitchell.”

“I love this place so much. I have been a patriot since it was at its small shop. What I love about it is that the customer service is always wonderfully friendly. it feels like I'm walking into their home to eat their mom's home cooking. I have traveled around and tried pho soup to assess which one is the best. I have gone to Florida Virginia all around the East Coast and hands down their pho soup is the best of the best! I even brought my sister with confidence and she's never tried Vietnamese food before and she had her mind alone. her and her daughter are quite the foodies themselves and they were pleasantly and wonderfully surprised. they said this is the best they ever had!”

Arriving for brunch, I was seated remarkably quickly, a testament to their efficient and friendly service. The menu itself was impressive, offering such a diverse range of options that I struggled to pick just one. I ultimately settled on the California Eggs Benedict, and it was simply incredible. Every element, from the perfectly poached eggs to the fresh avocado and hollandaise, tasted like it was crafted with top-quality ingredients.

Beyond the delicious food, the atmosphere was genuinely welcoming, buzzing with a moderate level of happy chatter. I even spotted the quirky leg lamp, which added a fun touch! While I didn't encounter any issues, I noted their commitment to customer satisfaction even when facing minor challenges, which speaks volumes. The prices felt incredibly fair for the quality and portion sizes. Sneakers Bistro truly delivers on all fronts, and I'm already planning my next visit to explore more of their delightful menu. “I am blown away. You ever feel like you can taste the love in a meal? That’s how my burrito bowl tasted. This was the best lunch I’ve had in winooski in years. So flavorful, and also felt healthy. Also, only 10.99 for a generous portion. Plus I got a mango lassi on the side? Where else u getting a burrito bowl and mango lassi together? Give them your business, they deserve it. And you won’t be disappointed”

“I love the ice cream here, interesting flavors. Today they had double tahini swirl and fennel lime. The tahini ice cream (black and white) is amazing. The bathroom wall art is great, local school kid art on walls, lots of seating, it’s a lovely escapist cafe.”

“On a road trip from out of state, googled some options and was recommended Jrs from another restaurant that was reservations only tonight; so very happy that’s how it worked out! We called ahead to make sure they had openings and the girl I talked to was very friendly. Upon arrival though they mentioned they don’t take reservations they had a table for 5 ready for us. Coming from out of state with 3 kids of different ages there were a lot of questions about the menu and our waitress Lexi was patient and kind; speaking with them directly and making sure to answer all questions. Drinks were refilled without asking, extra napkins supplied, she kept an eye out and checked in regularly. The food was fantastic as well, but Lexi was superb!”

Ordered a Season of the Witch and house Old Fashion. The Witch is an incredible fusion of flavors and smooth to drink. The Old Fashion with OF 1910 was a perfect example of what and Old Fasion should be. Ruby the bartender should be commended on her mixology skills.”

“The family stopped by on a Monday night after traveling all day, so we were hungry and ready to try a couple of beers. The beer selection was good and found they had a nice selection of their stuff in cans to go. They lost a star because they were out of several menu items that 3/4 of us were ordering. We ended up with burgers(both regular and vegan) that were ok and honestly when traveling, burgers are the last thing I want to order.

****UPDATE**** I revisited on May 7th(two weeks later) and I was able to order the Tofu Katsu sandwich and it was very good! My son is leaving the area, so that was likely my last visit and I’m glad I did. Thanks to 4Q for making my visits to the area enjoyable!”
