Had an appointment up on the other side of the interstate. Wife was very hungry, so I suggested we dive into Winooski and eat at the first reasonable looking place. I had a great gyro wrap, she enjoyed her meal, too. Large portions of good food for the price. Nice proprietors. Free wifi. Recommended.
This is a great family run establishment. I've always been a big fan of Waf's Westside deli-Pizza after my first visit there. Waf and Sada are great owners. They will most likely strike up a friendly conversation with you when you first walk in the deli, and talk to you. Waf's Westside Deli has an extensive menu of food that they offer. Whether it's their pizzas, or barbecue bacon sandwiches, it will hit the spot. The prices are reasonable, and they give you plentiful of food...read full review

I love this place. Truly family owned--you see the couple running it right then and there. The flavors are REAL. They used to have beer on draft but it seemed like the keg was down the last couple of times I've been in (Fall 2019). I hope it comes back!
