Wish I had taken a few minutes to read these reviews before stopping here for lunch with my family! Service was pleasant enough, but the food was a real let-down. I thought I’d just made a bad choice (extremely bland carnitas tacos) but no-one else liked their food either! You would think that in VT, there would at least be a little cheese in the grilled cheese!!I guess they rely on tourist traffic to stay in business, since I can’t imagine anyone going there more than once.

Good for (simple) drinks after skiing; beyond that it is typical bar food. Restaurant at Norwich Inn (just around corner) is a better bet for good food.

Ironic that this restaurant is on Elm Street as I now refer to it as Nightmare on Elm Street. The server was rude and grumpy and nothing we ordered was correct. Brought still water instead or sparkling, salad was missing the protein, wing were missing the accompaniments and the chicken sandwich and fries were cold. And all after waiting a long time for the order to be served. When I politely informed the server that my meal was cold, he grumbled and went and got a manager, who then said "well, what do you want me to do about it? Heat it up?"I did not want microwaved fries and said so. To which he responded "well, I'm not making another one because we are too busy for that". And he picked up my meal and took it away, saying he wouldn't charge us for it. So I didn't get lunch. The other finished theirs and we asked for the check. A small piece of paper was thumped on the table, which just had the total on it. We then had to asked for an itemised bill as we didn't think the amount was right. The manager provided us with this and we then had to point out that we had been charged for items not received (the protein for the salad - $12).I signed the credit card receipt and left. I did not leave a tip as it was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had anywhere in the world - and I was hungry as I still hadn't had anything to eat. However, the next day I discovered that an additional $9 had been charged to our card. This is fraud - and I have now reported this to my bank along with a copy of the signed receipt that I have.

Cute little spot in Woodstock with food that makes you feel at home and friendly staff. I got the grilled cheese & tomato soup and the Mac and cheese. Loved everything about this place I would definitely come back.

Not impressed. Its a cool venu. Cool vibe, good prompt service, HOWEVER, the kitchen could use some more technical cooking skills. Mac’n Cheese was ok. Burger was WAY overdone (then was requested), onion rings were burned, and the Lamb Alfredo left a lot to be desired (flavor want bad).

Delicious dinner with friends at Dr. Coburns. The mac & cheese was so creamy and delicious, and the cheeseburger was huge and very well cooked. Our waiter was very kind and got all of our food out quickly.

Such a cute spot with great service and food. Got the mac n cheese, chicken egg rolls and best of all the grilled cheese & tomato soup. Sorry I only took a picture of the creamy Mac and cheese but the tomato soup combo was so good I ate it in 4 minutes. Best food and vibe in this freezing 4 degree weather and also fire cocktails. I got the hot toddy and it kept me nice and warm. I'll be coming back!!!

Has a definitive "ski-lodge" vibe to it, but that's the best thing about it.Beer was pretty fresh, but the bartender had to go in the kitchen to get milk, which should be readily available at the bar for, say, White Russians? Menu looked very generic and unappealing - jarred banana peppers on salads, and chicken with barely any color or flavor?? (I saw chicken leave the kitchen that looked boiled rather than grilled)The prices were utterly outrageous, too, but I suppose that's what you can expect in Woodstock, VT. Anybody with more money than sense will come into this place and drop hundreds of dollars on mediocrity and be none the wiser.

To keep it simple, the food was just okay, and the service was abysmal. Our server seemed to be more focused on other things, such as making fun of other patrons with the owner. The Santa Fe chicken eggs rolls were good, but the burger got me sick. I asked for well done, but good medium well. I’m fine with this because I like it a little pink, but I know this may be a problem for others.

This restaurant has a friendly staff and a great adorable interior. The hot toddy was warm and strong. The grilled cheese and tomato soup was comforting, especially on a cold day. Service was very friendly but a bit slow however we visited close to the holidays. This restaurant has great views and is perfect for people watching.Vegetarian options: Has some vegetarian options.

Dismissive, terrible service. Food came out cold and was tasteless. Drinks forgotten. Took 40 minutes to get water, took an hour to get food from ordering.
