The woman serving my group of 5 told us she was tired due to being overworked and that the kitchen staff was in a bad mood. We put that off as her having a bad day, but when we asked for simple modifications (additional condiments/sides which we were fine with paying for) when our orders came out significantly different than how we had placed them and she was visibly annoyed….we just gave up. Came here to eat out for dinner during our holiday in Woodstock. Our waiter was lovely and very accommodating, and although the wait time was quite slow (about 30-35mins for 4 pizzas) they tasted delicious. Despite what appears to be negative experiences from other visitors, we had a positive experience and would come back again, if there was faster service.
Dr. Coburn’s Tonic in Woodstock is a lovely spot with amazing food and friendly staff. The grilled cheese & tomato soup and Mac and cheese are favorites, while the creamy mac & cheese and huge cheeseburger are highly recommended. The restaurant offers thoughtfully prepared cuisine and excellent cocktails. The atmosphere is comfortable, relaxed, and cozy, making it a great place for a delicious dinner with friends or a family lunch break after exploring Woodstock. Visitors have enjoyed dishes like the delicious Rubin and chicken tenders with maple bourbon sauce for dipping, as well as the BLT on Panini, which is good for splitting. Service is fantastic, with friendly and efficient staff, contributing to an enjoyable experience. The decor and vibe enhance the dining experience, with trail maps on the walls adding a unique touch.
