“We are ere seated by the window and greeted by our attentive waiter. Service was slow due to a mixup with the chicken liver mousse. Our waiter served us free bread in the meantime. When the mousse came , it was thinner than expected and just smeared on a plate. I ordered the oxtail and my husband ordered the pork chop which had a hefty portion. The flavor of the oxtail dish was outstanding but little meat in the dish for the price. I would recommend it highly. The charred greens with the pork chop weren't my husband's favorite nor the mustard-topped apples but when eaten together he thought it a good pairing. Tip: ask for a table outside if the weather is nice. I regret we didn't. This is the second time we've eaten dinner at one of the Inn's restaurants and children have been present, and although they were not running around the tables, the occasional scream or “mommy, mommy, mommy” shrill doesn't make for a romantic backdrop. It won't keep us from coming back.“

“I researched our area for a tasting menu, my favourite way to enjoy dinner out. The Lincoln Inn 7course tasting menu was outstanding. Each plate was beautifully crafted and creative. The food was delicious. Because we don’t drink alcohol we enjoyed the non-alcoholic drink pairings in lieu of the wine parings. I recently visited a Michelin star rated restaurant in San Francisco and the chef at the Lincoln in outdid that menu in spades. I can’t wait to return when we don’t have to drive home in a blizzard. ?“
