My husband and I spent two nights here and we loved it. We wanted a luxurious experience and we got it. Had a couple of spa treatments and strolled the streets of the cute town. While the spa is located inside the inn, the pool is not. It’s about a mile away, but there is a shuttle that will take you there.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Tastefully decorated with plenty of space, two large sitting chairs and a mini fridge. Really loved it.

Very clean and nice. It ends there. The golf course is not by the hotel. Food is by a chef using quality ingredients but is bland. Cordial service but not a smile on any of the faces. I guess we were bored and underwhelmed. You would expect more for the price.

Stayed overnight in the Zieland room after shopping, going out to dinner and a hike in the area. So we got into the room late. Took a nice hot shower and started the noisy ac unit in the room. The bed was comfortable but it was very noisy, it creeks and sounds like it is going to break any second. Had a hard time falling and staying asleep due to the noisy ac unit, bed noise and street noise. Got up for breakfast which was awesome. Informed a woman at the front desk about the noisy ac unit and bed and she didn’t seem to care. I’m disappointed with her lack of care.
As excited as we were to spend some nights in Vermont we've felt the need to cancel after the complete lack of service we received. Now we realize it's hardly the Four Seasons we're used to and perhaps that's our mistake. However, we paid a decent amount for a very low level room (as was forced by that being the only room type allowed for traveling with our small pup) and expected, at a minimum, to be able to communicate with the Inn. After over 3 weeks of sending emails (I'm currently based in London) and hearing absolutely nothing back we felt incredibly uncomfortable keeping our reservation. There aren't a lot of great places to stay in these little rural areas and I'm sure that's how this stays so on trend, but as the generation dies that doesn't expect anything for these prices this Inn will have to figure out how to adapt. We're still waiting on our refund less a $30 fee. Seems insane to pay a fee for having to cancel due to an inability to connect with actual staff thus forcing our hand, but this probably sums up the character of this establishment. We cannot recommend if you're looking to receive any level of service.
