We chose to celebrate our mom’s 80th birthday here on a Wednesday night. They were able to accommodate a reservation for our group of ten. I hadn’t been here for many years and was so pleased that it has kept its charm and continues to innovate with its food and drink menu. Our server was very well informed about food allergies and preferences and the service was very classy. We all left very satisfied and will definitely be back!
The hostess seemed put out that we arrived early for our reservation ( 20 minutes). She explained that she had just sat a 7 top with our server. I said we are happy to grab a drink and wait. We were then informed that we couldn't because the bar had patrons at it. She was able to accommodate us, 10 minutes ahead of schedule. Server was courteous and attentive. We are never disappointed at the Prince & Pauper. The food is superb, the service is impeccable, and the building has the great old New England feel to it. We dined there last night, and our meals were delicious as always. Our server was attentive and always there when we needed her. All the staff go above and beyond, both the back and front of the house. We appreciate all everyone does to give us such a great experience.
