The location was great and there was skiing right up the block. It was a very cozy hotel and they were dog friendly. The rooms were not so big but they were very cute and service was great.

Great property! Many areas within the hotel to explore, including a game room. The latter is perfect if you are traveling with kids. They even have a pac-man classic game which was so much fun to play ?They have two restaurants on premises. Although we haven’t dined there, we went for a breakfast buffet and were very happy with many choices they offer! We had a 50$ hotel credit available (i think because of a iprefer membership- so make sure you be one a member before booking) which we ended up using toward our breakfast bill, which was nice. They didnt explicitly mentioned the 50$ credit upon the check in, so please check your hotel reservation email if the credit is listed or ask at the check in.The room was very mediocre. The shower could definitely be renovated. The bed was very comfortable. We didnt have time to explore outside the hotel area but it looks like there is a lot going on!

Whatever you do DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We are supposed to stay tomorrow but Vermont is getting a massive snow storm and the airlines have already canceled our flights. They have a 0 tolerance cancellation policy. Leonard in reservations is rude and would not budge in helping us get our money back for the one night cancellation fee. Employees like this should not be working at a luxury hotel. Very sad that this hotel cares more about $$ than the safety of their guests!!

We had the most delightful stay at this wonderful historic Inn. The staff is wonderful, the location perfect and the restaurant is delicious. One of my favorite places in New England.

Rooms: Lots of places to eat and shop nearby. Quechee gorge is a great place to visit. Walking trails and a variety of little shops. Restaurants close by the gorge too. It is an expensive area but beautiful. Lots of different shops and restaurants in Woodstock near the green. Also a theater with different acts, plays, music etc.

I stayed here a few months ago right before thanksgiving. I live in Southern Delaware and I stopped here for a night on the way to my families house in Littleton, New Hampshire.I must say I don’t really like staying in hotels but I loved my stay here. It was in the teens outside and very cold, much colder than it’s usually gets where I’m from. I was greeted by a very nice luggage man and a roaring warm fireplace. After several hours in the car I was so happy to finally have a break. We ate at the restaurant. Very beautiful place. Food was pretty good and menu had a decent amount of options. Prices were fair as well. I spent some time in the game room as well. I must say, though it was small and basic, it was the most fun I’ve had in a long time. I got to talk to my uncle who I haven’t seen in a while who lives right near the inn and stopped by to say hi. Game room had a tv or 2 a pool table, shuffleboard, air hockey and a few other games if I recall correctly.Rooms were clean. Bathroom was clean and I had no issues with it. My only complaint is I almost hit my head a few times going up and down the stairs. Ceilings are not very high in some parts of the building but that is to be expected with an older building like this. Also I am 6ft 8in tall so I am much taller than most people who may be staying here. I could say a lot more about this place but I must say this was one of my most favorite memories and I hope to stay here again.Rooms: Clean

Definitely not your typical inn! Really enjoy how Woodstock keeps it's original heritage alive. The fresh chocolate chip cookies (daily) are a must! It's a small community with mostly mom and pop stores. The spa is absolutely amazing and then if you head down the street to the recreational center, you can swim, sauna, steam room, shower, etc. ohhh and it's a skiing community with local mountains very close. It's not a cheap place to stay but the service and attention to detail won't disappoint.
