Woodstock Farmers' Market is a popular local destination known for its great selection of fresh and delicious food. Visitors can enjoy a variety of baked goods, including pumpkin Whoopie pie and maple bran muffin, as well as turkey sandwiches and local coffee. The market also offers a wide range of products from nearby businesses, such as high-quality cheese, hot sauces, and local honey and chocolates. Many customers praise the fresh produce, which is mostly local, organic, and GMO-free, supporting local businesses with canned goods and sauces. The market features a significant cheese section, reflecting Vermont’s rich dairy tradition. The food is always fresh, never soggy or greasy, and the pastries are considered heavenly by visitors. Customers also appreciate the friendly customer service and the unique Christmas specialties. Although it can be quite busy and slightly pricey, the market remains a favorite among locals and visitors alike, with some willing to drive hours just to enjoy its treats, especially the famous giant cookie with caramel that many say is better than childhood memories.
