“We’re currently driving from Iowa to western Washington. Had to stop in Spokane real quick. I looked up some tofu places, and saw Island Style Food, had to check it out. Absolutely did not disappoint!!! I got the Island Style Noodles with Tofu, which came with an amazing cucumber salad!! Thank you all so much! The food is delicious! I’m the only non meat eater on this road trip, and even the kids said it smelled good!!“

“The foods Great, the service is Top Shelf. Monica greeted us at the door like we were family. Tim was our server and took such great care of us I felt like I was at my grandma's house :- )

We ate until we couldn't eat any more, and then brought home enough for lunch the next day!

If you're in Spokane, I believe the drive will be well worth it and We Highly recommend Chef Lu's!!!!!

“GREAT FOOD! I haven’t eaten here since early last year (2021) becuz I had moved from the lower South Hill to Airway Heights. I had ordered my favorite ‘Tan Tan Men’ and the chicken was shredded and not cubed like before, so I must say that the taste was even better. Even though AWH is 10 miles away, I will be visiting more often for sure. BTW when I order my fav as take-out, I ask for the Tan Tan Woman not men 🤘. * Side Note: It was nice seeing Katie D, who is an awesome server/person - (Katie, I will be working on my tan) 😁“

“Our favorite place to eat in the mall, hands down. Miso teriyaki bowl, rice or noodles. We practically inhale the food. I have had people stop at my table and interrupt me to ask where I got my lunch because they were surprised at how pretty it was and how good it smelled. I recommend Miso to anyone who will listen.“

“We live nearby and finally got around to Vinas. Before I go further, we will be back, even after this review. I broke one of my cardinal rules and that's order the food they're known for. So let's start with the service. I love the table set up. You have everything you need at your table: soup spoons, chopsticks, regular spoons, fish sauce, soy sauce, chili oil, hot sauce, straws, napkins... you get the picture. Also, bring cash! While they take credit and debit, you'll pay more for your order. That being said, we had two of their dinner combos #3, a 6 piece pot sticker appetizer, and water to drink. All said and done the entire meal was under $30. The appetizer was great. I had the sweet and sour chicken and sweet and sour pork with egg roll and fried rice, my wife had the noodles, cashew shrimp, egg roll, and chicken in bean sauce. My sweet and sour meats were very over cooked, especially the pork, the batter was very hard and crispy in spots and some of the meat had dark brown spots where the oil finally got through to the meat. The rest of my meal was fine. My wife got hers, and she only had 3 shrimp on her plate. Now the portions are on the smaller side compared to other Asian restaurants, but this was a joke. When your combo says pick 2 entrees and one of yours is 3 pieces of shrimp, maybe take shrimp off the menu. All in all, the rest of the food was good, not great but good. I should've gotten the Pho“
