They use to give my son a bag of broken fortune cookies when he went in. My parents did birthdays and anniversary dinners there. “My daughter wasn't feeling well and wanted soup. We decided to order in for the first time And have it delivered. She got the seafood hot and sour soup and is very happy. Not too rich but very healthy and hearty. Also, you can get it not spicy, a little spicy, or spicy. In order for the soup to sit well on her stomach we went with the non-spicy. Let me just tell you it is delicious. Next time we'll definitely add some spice.The soup is amazing and hits the spot. I ordered a combo plate which was More food than I could eat. “I love Panda Express and I usually go to the one in Spokane on Welsley by shadle, and I'll say this one is by far cleaner, better customer service, and great portions of food. Last time I got the honey walnut shrimp from the shadle location I was shocked. It was dry had a different sauce on it instead of the honey walnut glaze. And I'm not a picky eater, I mean especially if I paid good for it, I usually just shut up and eat it, but I literally spit this out, like I was one of my kids when they were 3 lol.“

“There food is good and portions are big But service needs work, our server never refilled our drinks or asked if we wanted refills. Also they brought the check before we were even half way done with our food. Then gave us to go boxes while we were still eating. Seams like they were pushing us out“

“Won Ton Soup was a little salty but tasted fantastic , this was my wife's favorite & my 2nd favorite. The Deep Fried Prawns were Great and Hot, it has been years since I got Hot Prawns from any restaurant, these were my favorite. Almond Chicken was made the correct way by breading a mallet flatten & tenderized piece of chicken then deep fried, then they add gravy on top (The way Louie's in Seattle / Ballard did). Only complaint was the fried rice made the old way of rice, soy sauce and egg cook in a Wok or flat grill, just plain and lifeless ! Not bad but not good, as I was expecting more.
Hours are very limited but worth the hassle of going there.“

“Panda Express at Northtown Mall was probably the busiest spot in the whole food court when I stopped by. The line just kept going and there were stacks of takeout orders moving through nonstop.

As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series, I spend a lot of time traveling and grabbing quick meals between drives, flights, bookstores, and whatever else I’m chasing that week, so I notice pretty quickly when a fast food place is actually running efficiently.

They had the full Panda Express lineup going including the newer spicy dynamite chicken along with all the usual favorites. Everything came out hot and consistent, which honestly is all you really want from a busy food court stop.

The nice part about the setup is the shared seating area since the food court has plenty of tables spread around even when things get crowded.

The staff was super friendly and kept the line moving surprisingly fast considering how many people were coming through.

Funny enough, while working later on the Maui Desire Romance Series novels, I realized food courts and airport meals sneak into travel scenes way more than I ever expected.
