“The thing that amazes me most about this place is whenever I tell someone about it they have no idea we have the best Chinese food right on Trent and Evergreen. They have been there for decades and it's still the best food around and the sweetest little lady makes it worth the drive. Lalozy must be protected at all costs!!!“

“We absolutely love the food! It's flavorful and delicious. You get healthy portions for your money. It has a calm and peaceful vibe that I appreciate. Too many places play loud music; makes it hard to visit and enjoy your food. The service is very good; the servers are polite and engaging. Took my husband there for the first time today for our anniversary. He's still raving about it! We'll definitely go again!“

“We had a wonderful experience. The food was great. The Waiter was so nice and hospitable and brought great conversation. The almond chicken was superb and I’ve had it many times. Also the sweet and sour wasn’t traditional like what you have everywhere but nicely balanced. The sesame chicken didn’t taste like candy but was very delicious and not too sweet. My husband is a hot and sour soup snob and said that he had the best he’s ever had ?
I loved seeing all the plants everywhere.

“WORST NIGHT EVER My boyfriend and I ate there yesterday. The server made me very uncomfortable talking about my perfume and the way he looked at me when he talked about a woman he once dated with my same scent. It was completely inappropriate and extremely creepy. The food was mediocre at best, but the fried rice was brown and not because it was supposed to be. It made my boyfriend super sick. The oil/flattop grill has to be filthy for it to be that dark. His stomach pains/nausea are proof that AK’s kitchen standards are low. I got the combination dinner #9 and it made me violently vomit later on. I will be sure to continue telling everyone I know to NEVER give them another penny.“

“A couple came in while I was eating. The male decided that waiting a second to let the person behind the counter finish his order was too long to wait for water cup so he decided to yell curse words and slurs at the people working. Absolute ridiculousness! The manager that was working calmly handled the situation and got both people out of the store. I don’t know how he had that much patience. He handled it perfectly. I like panda, but I will go a little out of my way to go to this one because of the manager.“

“This was our second visit to Happiness Chinese Restaurant and they have not disappointed yet! Food was very good and the Family dinner has so much food that I dare you to eat it in a single sitting. This is our new go to for Chinese food.“

“The foods Great, the service is Top Shelf. Monica greeted us at the door like we were family. Tim was our server and took such great care of us I felt like I was at my grandma's house :- )

We ate until we couldn't eat any more, and then brought home enough for lunch the next day!

“I just wanted to write a review for the absolutely fantastic crew I encountered tonight. I made an order through the Panda app and a slight mishap happened between orders which required me to wait a tad longer but the absolutely kindness, A++++ customer service and constantly asking if I'd like to take something on the house for the wait which wasn't nessecesary at all but it was much appreciated. They worked like a well oiled machine, that was one hell of a crew. This was Wednesday night October 16th, 2024. Thank you for the great food as always but the kindness and fantastic customer service. Hope you guys had a good night ❤️“

“Won Ton Soup was a little salty but tasted fantastic , this was my wife's favorite & my 2nd favorite. The Deep Fried Prawns were Great and Hot, it has been years since I got Hot Prawns from any restaurant, these were my favorite. Almond Chicken was made the correct way by breading a mallet flatten & tenderized piece of chicken then deep fried, then they add gravy on top (The way Louie's in Seattle / Ballard did). Only complaint was the fried rice made the old way of rice, soy sauce and egg cook in a Wok or flat grill, just plain and lifeless ! Not bad but not good, as I was expecting more.
Hours are very limited but worth the hassle of going there.“
