“Listen, you don’t go to happiness for the service or atmosphere. You go for the amazing tasting Chinese food at affordable rates. The size of the portions is unbelievable! My family of 7 can go, eat in for less than $100 and still have left overs for half of us for another meal.Expect a long wait if you’re ordering in via any app or even by calling in. Expect for the 1 employee to be overworked and stretched thin but still manages to have a great attitude. Did I mention expect a long wait? It’s worth it. Embrace it. Make friends with the 10+ people waiting in line to pick up their order. There’s a reason they have such a long line.“
“Ordered the A dinner for 2. All the food was great except all the prawns had the poop shoot still in them. Told the waitress and she gave us another order to take home since we were done with our dinner. Well at home every prawn again had the poop shoot in them. So will NOT be ordering prawns ever again.“
“Tried this restaurant for the first time, I am very pleased with our male server; he knew his stuff on what’s on the menu, his customers service was an 10/10. The food was delicious, wait time 10-15min. As for Spice levels, they were well leveled for each dish. Will definitely come back again and try more dishes. Suggestion for the female worker at the front desk: if your going to prep food at the front counter please don’t be eating the ingredients in-front of your customers AKA: the beans).“
“The food is always fast, fresh and flavor- lishous! My server Molly was a gem of a human. She didn't miss a single detail, very friendly and let me try her newest prototype. (Deep eddy ruby red, deep eddy lemon, vanilla vodka, sprite, soda water & freshly muddled oranges.) Simple, refreshing and tasty AF! This isn't your typical "bar" the decor is sophisticated, big windows with tons of natural light, plush booths and chairs, and the PATIO!!!“
“A little hidden gem. Go here for a quick and affordable lunch. We had a veggie noodle bowl, tomato noodle bowl, and pork potstickers. All prepared fresh! The housemade hot chili sauce is really food. Piquant and just spicy enough. The owners were friendly and so nice to talk to.Vegetarian options: There aren't a lot of veggie options on the menu, but the chef is obliging and inventive if asked.“
“Their Broth is the best in all of Spokane. They have tripe and tendon and it's fresh and tender.!!!They use beef bone in their soups! The service is excellent! And the quality is unmatched.Parking: The is a dirt lot right next to building, the paved lot is very limited on spAce, but always plenty of parking!“
“Best Asian food in the area! Been here twice, about 2 years apart and was blown away both times. Sushi was phenomenal, tasted so fresh. Crab wontons were the best I've ever had. My partner ordered a chicken, shrimp, veg stir fry and it was simply amazing. Fresh, bright, delicious food. Friendliest service and a calm relaxing atmosphere. Will be back soon!Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp for easy accessibility“
“Great food and for the most part very consistent. Gave 4 stars due to not authentic Chinese food. I do appreciate that they have selected gluten free items. I just wish the did the hot and sour soup gluten free!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free available!“
“American-chinese food. Been going here on and off for 20 years now. Their food is always better tasting and lower price than comparable restaurants. Family who runs the place is amazing and always asks about my kids. It's been a pleasure to be their patron through the years.“
“Best fried rice in the valley! Add beef and make it 2 spicy to really enhance flavor! Wonton soup is delish. Mongolian beef is another go to! Amazing food. Great service. We love ordering from Chans!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible. Wide enough door and plenty of space inside to maneuver.“
“I had one of the best meals I've had in a long time along with the absolute best service I've ever had!To give you some perspective, I had a friend rave about Sashimi and I wanted to try some for the first time. My waitress (Cady) said that she personally preferred Nigiri but it's just a preference and that some people don't like the rice with it. I decided to go with Nigiri thinking that having the rice as a buffer would be a great first step to having just the fish. I ordered the Sushi Dinner which was 6 chef's choice pieces of Nigiri and a crab stick roll. Cady took the time to explain to me which fish was which and what I should expect, she also offered several sauces on the side to enhance the experience. I feel like I ate this much faster than I should have but I took the time to taste and chew each bite so I knew what I like for the future. The food was fresh, tasty, and luxurious on my tongue. I even ordered another 2 pieces of what I liked the most (which happened to also be her favorite).Very rarely have I ever experienced such fantastic service helping me along my journey and even teaching me about the fish. Having wait staff help, explain, and talk to me about their own experience is a delight that I have had only one other time. Cady made my experience 100 times better than it could have been had I had someone who didn't care to connect with their customer and have a conversation. Bravo QQ, and bravo Cady!!“
“Came into this restaurant for the first time, i was quite impressed by their dim sum offerings and was pleasantly surprised by the attentive service and the thoughtful selection available. While each dish boasted quality, I found myself longing for a bolder flavor profile in the Szechuan Beef. Nonetheless, despite its simplicity and its offerings its definitely worth your while. I’m Excited to come back and try more exciting dishes in the future.“
“'Ya know, Honey...,' our lovely server told me, '...we don't have the derelicts, low lifes, and homeless people eating here, anymore.' Well, she got one right, because I'm not homeless. This beloved place and our family go waaaay back (early 1990s), and I will say the inside looks as good as I've ever seen it. But it is in a less desirable area of downtown, and would hardly ever be considered a first date night destination. That said, I've always come away with the feeling of....why the heck do I love this food so? Wifey was feelin' it, and insisted on the Dinner for 2, for $50, with pretty much the most mundane offerings of the Chin-Amer fare that one could have, i.e., Almond Chicken, S&S Chicken, etc. I really wish I could give you some specific reason why we were just staring at each other and shaking our heads on how good it all was, but I guess I'll need another decade+ of reviewing to figure out how...“
“Fast, friendly, service. Great food and large portions! The restaurant is very plain and echoes a lot, so it's noisy. Some absorptive ceiling tiles would help a lot! This won't keep me from returning, but I may be more inclined for takeout.“
