“I stopped in for lunch while out for work in the area. The restaurant furnishings are bright and the place was clean. I sat at the bar and was served within a few minutes. At first when I saw the menu I balked at the price of a half order, but once I actually received my order of traditional goulash and German potato sausage pancakes I realized how large the portions are. If a full order is twice what I got then it's more food than just about anyone could eat in one sitting. It did not take long for my order to arrive. I had fresh squeezed lemonade that was very good, just the right blend of sweet and tart. The food was clearly all freshly prepared from scratch. The German potato pancakes came with apple sauce and the dish was great, I would definitely order them again. The goulash was also excellent, with fresh vegetables and nicely prepared hashbrowns. The staff were very friendly and nice. My server as well as others struck up pleasant, small conversations that made me feel welcome. Overall a good experience and well worth the money, especially considering that I had half my order to take home and finish later for another meal.“

“People’s Waffle in Coeur d’Alene is an absolute gem!! From the moment we walked in the atmosphere was welcoming, fun and local in the best way. The waffles are incredible! Fresh, flavorful, perfectly made and clearly crafted with care. You can tell they put thought into both the food and the experience.

The staff is friendly, the service is great and the whole place has that “this is why we love CDA” kind of feel. Easily one of those local spots you want to keep coming back to and recommend to everyone.“
