The food was delicious! We got the filet and the ribeye and both were cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the wait staff, they were very professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend.
The lobster bisque was fine but a bit bland and needed more seasoning. And the bisque made it out long before the bread service. My chimichurri grilled shrimp were good but a missed opportunity was to put a small dollop of chimichurri on the side to dip the shrimp in. The gazpacho that came with the shrimp was delicious though. Overall, good food, not great food; and good service, not great service for the price of the meal. We made reservations for a birthday and I am glad we chose Masselow's! I haven't been in years but I was reminded how much I like it. You can't go wrong with any of the dishes IMO, but the mushrooms are a must as a side dish. They are packed full of flavor, just like everything else we had. Some honorable mentions: French styled chicken, NY steak, clams, and the Caesar salad is creamy & delicious. The service was great, too. Shout out to Dan! Can't wait...
