We had dinner there last Friday. Fish and and coleslaw deal... $2.50 for 2 pieces of fish and a nice serving of coleslaw. Added fries and chowder. Dinner for 2 was about $15. Made fresh to order!!! The staff is very friendly and accommodating!!

About one out of 3 trips to get Skippers, this place was closed for lack of employees. Seems rather arbitrary as to when open or closed. Best to call first and see before making drive to dine.

The filets are not what they were in their heyday in the 90s, but it was good to see a satellite Skipper's in a newer gas station/convenience facility on the West Plains. I've always thought they've had the less greasy option for QSR, national/regional brand fried fish, and this location held true to that. For 2023, they're pretty affordable. Nice gal was cookin' it all, with a friendly dude keeping the dining area clean. This was not a planned lunch....
