Skippers Reviews
Really sucks they are only open until 6 pm. Also kinda frustrating how small the portions are. And how long it takes to get your order. I miss actual Skippers locations.
About one out of 3 trips to get Skippers, this place was closed for lack of employees. Seems rather arbitrary as to when open or closed. Best to call first and see before making drive to dine.
Pretty great for just some seating in a gas station/small grocer.

Skippers, a regional restaurant chain, offers a convenient dining experience within a gas station/convenience facility on the West Plains. While the filet may not be as stellar as in the past, the fried fish remains a less greasy option compared to other quick-service restaurants. The affordably priced menu includes delicious offerings such as shrimp, coleslaw, chicken, and mac and cheese. The friendly staff ensures a welcoming atmosphere for diners. Overall, Skippers provides a satisfactory dining experience for those seeking a quick, affordable meal.
The restaurant has maintained its reputation for offering less greasy fried fish, and the menu remains reasonably priced. Customers have praised the friendly staff, who strive to provide good service. However, some have noted that the quality of the filet has declined compared to its heyday in the 90s. Additionally, the availability of certain menu items, such as coleslaw, can be inconsistent at times.
