When we stopped in this area, all we really wanted was a restroom. The visitor center had honey buckets and the pizza place was closed so we found this Internet cafe. Since we had our dogs with us, we decided to get some food to go. However since we ordered fish and chips, we just parked in the shade and ate from our trunk. This fish was awesome. Not just better than we expected, but some of the best I ever had. Tender and moist, thinly battered and not oily...And the fries too......
This restaurant is in the middle of nowhere and is a welcome respite if you've just come from the rainforest. However, it is old, and the bathroom needed a good cleaning. The menu listed a variety of hamburgers and sandwiches. We split a French Dip Sandwich. It was good. We could not eat all the fries. The tea tasted like it was instant. The service was good, but the waitress was not a happy camper. I would stop there again, if ever I was traveling Hwy 101 again.
