Our family took a day trip around Olympic National Park and intended on grabbing food somewhere along the way. Good thing we were hungry for some breakfast/brunch type food, because The Roosevelt Room at Lake Quinault Lodge wasn't too far away, and they did it right! The Quinault Lodge as a whole is a truly magical, cozy spot in a gorgeous setting, and the dining room was a lovely place to spend an evening--especially during the holidays. (Also great for breakfast when it's light inside so you can take in the lake view!)What really made the experience stand out for me, though, was the service. Dinner felt like a culinary journey through the forest. I had the duck breast, which was cooked to perfection. My wife had the salmon, which had a perfectly crispy skin and paired amazingly with garnishes highlighting northwest ingredients. Breakfast the next day (smoked salmon hash) was also fantastic, and the servers were excellent.
