A great place to take a break from hiking and get a hot meal. Enjoyed the views of the lake from the dining room and the 1920s vibes of the restaurant - it was fun to imagine how not much has changed at the lodge in the last 100 years. The 1920s throwback menu was a fun homage to the history of the lodge and very tasty as well.
On a recent road trip tour I had the opportunity to have a dining experience at the Roosevelt Dining Room in the Quinault Lodge. Located in the upper peninsula of the Olympic National Park, the grounds alone are an experience in themselves. The dining experience was an added bonus. Our small tour group had the good fortune to taste most of the dishes offered on the dinner menu, since this is a group that likes to share. Upscale food in a relaxed atmosphere. The service was good and the staff were friendly. Plan to stay awhile and enjoy the view of the lake. They were flexible in meeting my dietary restrictions and the food was delicious. My husband who is picky about what he eats loved his food as well.
