Love this place. I visit anacortes from Bellingham every year as part of my birthday trip and this spot is always a must. The owner is so kind. The atmosphere is cozy but it still feels like a special occasion. The small board is a great size with good variety.
I was surprised and delighted to find a place like Blackbird Wine Bar and Charcuterie and it's my favorite happy hour in Anacortes. The first thing you'll notice walking in is the design. It's classy, edgy, and hip, but still comfortable, and quiet enough to meet friends and have a conversation (that you can actually hear). What a fabulous spot! We finally visited after having it on our list for months, and we're just sorry we didn't make it in sooner.
We had some beautiful wines, relying on staff recommendations, which were excellent. We also had the small charcuterie board between the two of us and it was wonderfully varied and very generous. We had it for dinner and took almost half of it home!
