Cannot say enough good things about Calico Cupboard - especially their cinnamon rolls! Had a wonderful breakfast with my wife. The coffee was smooth just how we like it. An excellent menu and professional staff. Did I mention how good their cinnamon rolls are?! Highly recommend!
Day before, lunch at Mt. Vernon Calico. Both excellent but Anacortes is outstanding. Downtown in very cool small seaside town. Service was just outstanding, as was the food. Walk the shops and eat at the Calico. Also great bakery there.
The food is good but our dishes were served accompanied with a huge amount of baked potato slices, which we just left there. Next time we will ask for our dishes with no potatos; i hope they can serve a substitute.
It is on the pricey side ~ $100 for two adults and two children (6 & 4).
Not that we can afford going there every weekend, but we will definitely go back.
