Our family wandered in after we arrived on the island our first day. The staff and patrons were super friendly. The snacks we ordered were tasty and we are looking forward to our first full meal there.
A good, chill restaurant. The place was calm, not crowded, and had a good, “neighborly” vibe. The food wasn’t anything to write home about, but it wasn’t bad either; it was better than a joint like that needed to be. They seemed to be training a new employee, and he did great getting everything right. He double checked our orders and asked about things we’d already said…but again…neighborly vibes / slow pace, no pressure.
This is not just an island diner it's an excellent experience. The view of the lake, the open deck, and the fantastic atmosphere is only outshines by the amazing food and staff.
