“These people are amazing, they went above and beyond for my family, I mentioned that I was going to propose to my girlfriend on the grassy beach in the back, and they set up a beautiful booth table for us ahead of time, and just made everything perfect. They even melted Oaxaca cheese in coffee mugs and provided a carafe of hot chocolate so we could have hot chocolate with cheese, as my girl is Colombian and that is a favorite treat down there. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect and intimate low-key proposal for my shy and introverted girlfriend. It was really, really special and a memory we will treasure forever. Thank you so much Sam, Andrew, and the whole team at Riviera Lakeshore!”

“Hands down Bacco Trattoria Italiana is the best authentic Italian restaurant anywhere in the Pacific Northwest. Homemade pasta, traditional Italian dishes, tiramisu made from scratch... I cant say enough great things about this place. Service is attentive but not overly hovering, everyone looks genuinely happy to be there.. We had a great experience and will most definitely be back for more. I had the lasagna and it was the best I've ever had ( my grandma would roll over in her grave if she heard me say that but its true) So happy to have such a wonderful Italian restaurant in Lacey so close to home. “This is by far the best BBQ in Western WA. Everything is good. Portion sizes are great and prices are reasonable. We drive an hour just to get great BBQ. We have met people who drove 3 hours to just eat the excellent BBQ. They also have vegetarian options.”

“My wife and I are loyal customers because we truly enjoy the total experience each time we patronize this establishment. One might expect a primarily "take out" place to be noisy and potentially chaotic. But, Ikonic Wings is pleasantly friendly and serene while you wait for your food (if you fail to order ahead of time). There are a few tables available for those lucky few who choose to dine in. The food is delicious and freshly prepared to order (SCRUMPTIOUS)! I'm a big man but after 3 wings, I've had my fill but may eat 1 or 2 more just for taste (the wings are larger than expected and the various sauces makes you speechless-YUMMY). We order from Ikonic Wings 2-3 times a month. The owner (Kelly) is wonderful (Army vet). She appears to run her restaurant with her patrons in mind. She is open to feedback and aims to please. So, if you have feedback for her, try to be kind as she seems to want pleased customers. If anyone walks away dissatisfied, I don't know what to tell you.”

“I moved to Olympia in 2022 and began looking for good restaurants. After going to 4 Japanese I hit on Kamakura and have been returning there at least 1X/week. Great rolls, rice is perfectly executed, the Drunken Noodles with shrimp are AMAZING(every time). The staff is so kind and accommodating (makes me feel relaxed) The only thing I feel want for is more seaweed in the miso soup. This restaurant reflects everything with a touch of Japanese family tradition. The prices are fairly set and reflect the quality of food. So this is “my go to” Japanese place in Olympia”

“Not sure if it was the cook or maybe they messed up but the Mongolian beef sauce was so sweet. Almost like they added the sweet and sour sauce. This is was definitely not your traditional Mongolian beef like Tealeaf2. The flavor is off and taste different. Super disappointing.”

“I love the fish and chips. My friend loves their salads. When my husband was alive, the cheeseburger was his favorite. It's great food. The service is always great. What I like is that it's basically a sports bar but you can hear your table mates talk. It's not so noisy that you can't hear yourself think. Parking is great. Wheelchair ♿ accessible. I eat here often. Prices are great too. Everything is expensive nowadays but here, you get a great meal for a great price. It's a 'for sure' thing.”

“We have been here a few times and took my teenager to experience their delicious subs. He is a meatball sub fiend and completely DEVOURED his sub. The Purple Haze sub is out of this world! My boyfriend got the Seattle Blues sub and his mind was blown. Afterwards, my boyfriend and son got the House and Butterfinger shake and they were incredible. The service is always wonderful and the staff are so kind. We live in Tumwater and we will go out of our way to eat here. This place is wonderful and highly recommend!”
