“My family and I had an exceptional experience on 6/20 for lunch. The food was the best Italian cuisine that we have had outside of Italy. The chef/owner is from Campagna, and his passion for Italian culture and cuisine shines in each bite we took. The service was impeccable as well.

“My wife and I are loyal customers because we truly enjoy the total experience each time we patronize this establishment. One might expect a primarily "take out" place to be noisy and potentially chaotic. But, Ikonic Wings is pleasantly friendly and serene while you wait for your food (if you fail to order ahead of time). There are a few tables available for those lucky few who choose to dine in. The food is delicious and freshly prepared to order (SCRUMPTIOUS)! I'm a big man but after 3 wings, I've had my fill but may eat 1 or 2 more just for taste (the wings are larger than expected and the various sauces makes you speechless-YUMMY). We order from Ikonic Wings 2-3 times a month. The owner (Kelly) is wonderful (Army vet). She appears to run her restaurant with her patrons in mind. She is open to feedback and aims to please. So, if you have feedback for her, try to be kind as she seems to want pleased customers. If anyone walks away dissatisfied, I don't know what to tell you.”

“A little korean restaurant that is tucked in the shopping strip. 12 seatings and bright interior. Every time I go there I was greeted right away and the service is always quick and pleasant. Foods are tastier than usual korean restaurants. However, small dishes are lacked kinds and not typical sorts.”

“This is by far the best BBQ in Western WA. Everything is good. Portion sizes are great and prices are reasonable. We drive an hour just to get great BBQ. We have met people who drove 3 hours to just eat the excellent BBQ. They also have vegetarian options.”

“I moved to Olympia in 2022 and began looking for good restaurants. After going to 4 Japanese I hit on Kamakura and have been returning there at least 1X/week. Great rolls, rice is perfectly executed, the Drunken Noodles with shrimp are AMAZING(every time). The staff is so kind and accommodating (makes me feel relaxed) The only thing I feel want for is more seaweed in the miso soup. This restaurant reflects everything with a touch of Japanese family tradition. The prices are fairly set and reflect the quality of food. So this is “my go to” Japanese place in Olympia”

“I recently visited Pearl Tea and was honestly so impressed 🧋✨
The staff are incredibly friendly and adorable, and they take orders right away—no long waiting at all. The drinks are delicious, especially the blended ones, which are perfect for cooling off in the summer.
The shop is beautifully decorated with a cozy, aesthetic vibe, and everything is very clean. I’m also obsessed with the penguin plush pillows—they’re seriously the cutest 🐧💙
The food is just as amazing: the “cheer me up” fries are crispy and so good, and the takoyaki and waffles never disappoint.
Honestly, what could be better than a refreshing blended drink and fries on a hot summer day? ☀️

“The subs are stacked, fresh, and made with care — you can tell they don’t cut corners. The shakes are unreal… thick, flavorful, and easily some of the best around. Great vibes, super friendly staff, and fast service every time we’ve been in. You can feel the pride they take in what they’re doing, and it shows in the food. “Restaurant felt very cozy and service was great. Food arrived pretty quickly. Ordered the green curry but it wasn’t my favorite. Got the 2.5 level spice, and it wasn’t as spicy as some of the other Thai restaurants in the area (I hadn’t read reviews beforehand…but just saw some other reviewers recommending to get spicier than you usually do). I can’t put my finger on it, whether it was too much coconut milk or something, but sauce didn’t taste as balanced as soon of the others I have tried in the area. But…overall my experience was decent.”

Smoking patio is dog friendly! Luckily I don't mind.the occasional second hand smoke.

Driving from the west, you may gawk at what may be the largest homeless encampment in WA; doing so, you'll blink and miss Fatso's. Next to the weed shop in a non-descript building, I had the fatso double cheese which is a great deal at $15.99.

Great house-cut fries as well. Only downside was that they charged for a tiny cup of bottle ranch.”

“I’m not sure if she was the owner or a staff member, but the woman who took our order had such bright, positive energy and was very friendly. I really appreciated how attentively she took care of us throughout our visit. We ordered the spicy stir-fried squid(오징어볶음) at level 3(spice levels range from 0 to 5) and galbitang(갈비탕). Some people might find it unusual that the galbitang comes with egg, but this style does exist in Korea. I especially remember having it quite often a long time ago. Overall, the side dishes and everything we had were not too salty and suited my taste perfectly. Our first visit was perfect. Can’t wait to go back!”

“We are new to WA and was excited to try out this place, but the pizza was disappointing. We ordered the giant Bulldog and it was BURNT. Not a nice crispy, but a disgusting, every bite we took, burnt pizza. For as much as we paid for it, we were super bummed.”

“This place is so good BUT the wait time is so long. I ordered online and had to wait 15-20 mins past their estimated time which was already a long wait.
Their food is delicious though. If you have time to wait, this is worth it. Just don’t expect to be eating quickly.”
