“We eat here once in a while and it has been awhile. Today was good food but the place was very empty. We were there on a weekday around 3pm. Service was a bit slow considering the lack of other guests. I ordered the Sassy salad and Hubby ordered the two meat plate with both meats being brisket. The server suggested he order the dinner version as there would be an additional fee of $3 to have his original request of double brisket. He agreed but I have to say when the food arrived the portions seemed to be a lot smaller. My salad was just a shade over what I would expect a "side" size to be. The "double" brisket on my Husband's plate just covered a slice of bread. Didn't seem very much. We each got a small cupcake size muffin of cornbread. It was all tasty though. So value for price was more of the issue.“
“Joe makes this place feel like home my friend and I are consistent patrons to this business and we are always happy to walk in and hear a greeting from our mans Joe. We appreciate the amazing food from the team and Joe's amazing front counter service.“
