the Federal Way store's phone number doesn't pick up. We wanted to follow up on a take out order where they shorted us on one item. Doesn't seem to be a way to contact them. Disappointing.

Ezell's Famous Chicken is a local, family-owned spot that serves excellent chicken and chicken tenders, which are a favorite. The chicken has a really great taste—crispy and flavorful. Popular sides include potato salad, coleslaw, corn, and macaroni, though some sides are just okay. Orders are often hot, fresh, and ready right on time, with a smooth and easy process. The quality and flavor are always on point. Customer service stands out, especially from a manager who is incredibly courteous and full of compassion, and a helpful gentleman at the front. However, the restaurant can be very expensive. Some orders are not filled correctly, and sometimes forks are missing. A strong smell of marijuana in the restroom was off-putting, and a smoke detection system is hoped for. Overall, the food is decent, but the atmosphere and smoke issue keep it from being a five-star experience. Takeout might be considered next time.
