Our favorite donuts, locally. Not five stars because they don’t honor their own hours. I verified they’d be open on Friday at 6am. At 6:30, they were still closed. Not a big deal except I was planning to bring 2 dozen donuts to work today. Please figure out your hours!
i love Donut Star. Their doughnuts are made fresh daily! I have only ordered doughnuts from there for delivery, and, each time I received an adorable pink, white & yellow box of fresh doughnuts with: You Deserve A Donut, on the top of the box! It's the cutest packaging! I always smile when I am about to grab a donut & in my mind I say, "thank yo!" I have seen the building many times. It's simple. It's local. After having a chocolate bar from this spot, no other donut compares! I dream about these donuts because they aren't covered in candy and junk. Just simple, delicious goodness. The dough is exactly what you expect and the frosting isn't super-sweet. They are just right and I know that if I get a donut anywhere else, I will likely be disappointed because these are so fresh! I'm not even a huge donut person but if I get a hankering for one, this is the only place that gets my money!
