Used to live down the street and would come here frequently. Visiting from out of state, I had to stop in for a bite to eat. They have never missed in my opinion. Always great food and friendly service.
Loved the chicken katsu that I just demolished! The katsu had good flavor, katsu sauce is solid with a little sweetness and tang. Rice was a little dry, but we in Auburn, so i guess you got to appeal to the demographics. You don't come here for the salad although the dressing was good. The restaurant feels homey with a nice korean couple running the show. Overall, the food, homey feeling and sweet auntie and uncle makes this place a winner. 잘 먹겠습니다.
We just ate here for my last night in town because, as a PNW native, every trip home I need to get my teriyaki fix. We went here on my brother’s recommendation and boy, it did NOT disappoint!
My brother and I got the spicy chicken and beef combo. Delightful and pleasantly spicy. If you don’t like spice I wouldn’t get the spicy version but if you do enjoy a tasty amount of heat, this is spot on. Not too hot, certainly flavorful.
