A very unique and delicious bakery in the island. They have a decent variety of baked goods and a decent coffee setup. If you are visiting the island definitely worth a stop in. We tired a number of different pastries and coffee all were delicious. I particular I'd recommend the vanilla downtowners.
Lots of sweet pastry options. The only savory one was a ricotta, asparagus when I went. Not the biggest fan of the cheese asparagus combo. The cookies and coffee were very standard for a bakery. Gets very busy

I’m going to focus on the gluten free offerings.
My first love at Blackbird, the gf snickerdoodle sandwich cookie. Two large snickerdoodle’s with a generous layer of cream filling between. No words can describe how heavenly the experience of this tastes! I’ve been GF since 2002 and this is THE BEST Cookie I have ever had the utter joy of consuming!!
Next up their gf lemon poppyseed muffin....
