Definitely more of a grab and go than a sit down place with the layout they have. But had a gluten free cookie that was decent. I imagine earlier in the day they have other options.
Little cute bakery on Bainbridge that gets really busy when those ferries dock. Not much room to sit it enjoy your pastries. The drinks we had were pretty good. I had a ginger chai and wife had a latte. Kids had cookies and one was a lunar New Year horse, which my son loved. Overall, the drinks and baked goods were good and we enjoyed what we had, but staff just seemed like they weren’t happy to be there or just not that friendly. Just wish there was more space to enjoy them...
Great place. Only issue is patrons camp out and stay for hours without actively buying products. There were 3 couples, at 3 tables of 4, had finished their items when we arrived, and we're still sitting and chatting with same dirty dishes and no new orders when we left after 60 minutes. Since there's very limited seating, Blackbird should post signs limiting stays to 60-90 minutes unless actively purchasing or consuming products.
