The food always tastes fresh and flavorful. The menu is diverse and a bit more “up-scale” for what you would normally think of as your neighborhood Mexican restaurant but that’s definitely a plus in my book! I was absolutely blown away by the uniqueness and variety of the dishes. For instance, I had the beet and goat cheese tostada with black beans- not to be missed!
We hired Miguelitos to cater an ~80 person party at our house the day before our wedding, and they did an outstanding job!! Miguel was so kind and communicative to us, and the staff who did the set up was efficient and super professional. Pick up was quick and easy. Most importantly, the food was SO good, reasonably priced, with incredibly generous portions for guests! We were happy to enjoy the leftovers from the event. We were expecting this to be a sit-down version of Miguelitos in the Safeway shopping center (which we love for fast, fresh meals), but were very pleasantly surprised to find creative, delicious, and well presented meals. The house-made Mexico City style tortillas are truly special and worth the trip in themselves. The drinks are well crafted and presented, too. The truly standout dish for us was the cochinita pibil. We will definitely be back!
