“Really tasty tofu & veggies with hash browns! The flavor of the tofu & veggies is Asian-inspired (ginger & tamari). Nicely cooked and all very good (though a bit small for the price, but that’s standard for Bainbridge). They also have soyrizo, vegan chili, & veganizable burrito and sandwich options. One of the best/only options in Bainbridge, as it’s not a very vegan friendly place.“

“When I walked into Holy Water, I felt like I’d stepped inside my favorite kooky aunt’s house. She was the black sheep of the family who made me laugh a little too much when we were forced to go to church to appease my grandmother. Eventually, we were forbidden to sit next to one another because we’d both be in tears and giggling so loudly that the entire congregation would turn to stare us down. That sort of irreverent (yet respectful and funny) vibe is part of Holy Water’s DNA. This place immediately makes you feel welcome. It doesn’t take itself too seriously- that is except for the food. If only my kooky aunt was as good a cook… The staff is amazing. They were patient when my lunch companion had to make some bizarre alterations to his order. (He’d just had a wisdom tooth pulled a couple of days before and needed softer foods.) When we were ready to leave and still had way too much food on our plates, a staff member saw the look of surrender on our face and quickly boxed up the remainders and told us that she’d added some extra gravy (yum!) for us to take home. (Who doesn’t love extra sausage gravy?) I love this place. The food is great but what really makes this spot shine is the people. I can’t wait to go back.“

“My wife and I shared a variety of things because their menu was full of interesting choices and we couldn't decide which of the many great options to pick. All of it was delicious, in particular: the green salad had an interesting smokey dressing that I desperately need to know the recipe of, and the pork chop was cooked to perfection. Camp West is an overall fun camping themed restaurant... they even have s'mores for dessert!“

“From the moment we stepped into this quaint and welcoming eatery, it was clear we were in for a treat. Opting for the 3-option combo meal, we were eager to dive into what promised to be a gratifying dinner. True to its promise, the restaurant delivered an experience that can only be described as both heartwarming and delightful.

The meal was a masterful display of culinary excellence, reminiscent of authentic, home-cooked comfort food at its finest. Each dish was prepared with such care and attention to detail that it felt like a warm embrace in every bite. The flavors were rich, well-balanced, and utterly satisfying, leaving no doubt about the skill and passion infused in the kitchen.

But it wasn't just the extraordinary food that made our visit memorable. The atmosphere of the restaurant, buzzing with the gentle hum of happy diners, contributed to a sense of belonging and relaxation. The staff, attentive and personable, seemed genuinely happy to accommodate every guest, adding an extra layer of comfort to our meal.

It's a place that feels like a secret too good to keep to ourselves. This charming spot has easily earned its place as our go-to destination after a long weekend, a beacon of culinary delight that promises to warm the soul and satisfy the palate.

For anyone looking for an authentic taste of comfort, this restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended, it's not just a meal; it's an experience that resonates with the warmth of a home-cooked dinner. Don't miss out on this exquisite gem!“

“I came on my lunch break. I purchased a lunch special and paid a little over $25.00. That's not a special. 3 stripes and potato salad with a drink and peach cobbler. The chicken was fresh out the grease and crunchy like I like it. The potato salad was to die for. I'm from the south so it tasted like it was right out of grandma's kitchen. The only disappointment I had was to peach cobbler and the price to be a special. The crust was more like bread from a cake than crust on a pie. It crumbled as I open the tray. It had great cinnamon spices like I like it but the crust just wasn't it for me.“
