Spent 5 hours driving and was incredibly thirsty/hungry when I got to the ferry terminal. Grabbed a breakfast Sammy and a SanPellegrino here as the ferry was unloading. Hit the spot and was incredibly fast.

Five stars for the thing itself and the people are great but the hours for the inside place KILL MY SOUL. When it opened I was like “finally a place to sit and have a drink while waiting for a late ferry on one of many summer evenings” only to find it’s shuttered before six.

Along with rolling bay, genuinely might be the best coffee on Bainbridge. Staff are friendly and hustle! Also since they have a generator you can go here even during the frequent power outages.

Used to be these ladies would slam you a dang good Americano in 90 seconds flat - pick it up at the next window pal! Not so anymore: this local standby seems to have taken a turn since it moved into the terminal.
The first time I figured it was maybe just an off day, but the second time was enough. Handed someone else's coffee, hot food cold in the middle, and maybe worst of all, what used to be the fastest service in the West has turned glacial - person at the counter making friends with each customer like everyone in line isn't waiting on a ferry that leaves in ten minutes.
I was a daily Commuter Comforts regular for years back when I commuted, so it's a bummer to see it change.
The food selection is still very good, and obviously the location is great, but I really hope they listen to the more recent reviews that are cropping up here, including this one, and get back to what made them awesome.
Vegetarian options: They have a very generously-sized vegetarian breakfast burrito.

The quality of coffee preparation has gone way down sinve they moved into the terminal. i wish they would hire and/or train actual baristas who knew what they were doing.
$7.10, $8 after tip, for the wrong coffee on a typical late ferry Sunday. Super. Their coffee and snacks are typically adequate, nothing to rave about. Prices are high (don't forget the disposable cup fee).
If you don't want to pay tourist prices and you actually don't have the patience to be wherever, whenever... this is not the place for you.
Bainbridge Island to Seattle options:
Take the scenic route and play in traffic;
Spend your day in a ferry line;
Don't leave the island.
Very good veggie burrito, reasonable prices, and friendly staff

I came here for the matcha latte but they couldn't make it without any sweeteners. I took a London Fog instead and asked for no sugar to be added but it was very sweet anyway. That's too bad--I threw away half of it. Why can't these places make anything without sugar? I wouldn't come back here.
