Absolutely loved our tasting with Ned. His knowledge of wines was impressive.

Check out the roof terrace at the back, particularly on a sunny day or a Sunday where there is live music. We enjoyed a bottle of local wine and music for a couple of hours. Lots of local people, all very friendly.

Very nice experience with Mike, as we stopped in just a shade before closing on a Wednesday. Split a bottle of Battle Point Red that was an impressive blend, balanced with tempranillo, merlot, and a bit of cab sauv. Excellent $30 bottle with balance and finesse, long finish, notes of blackberry and plum (for me) in the flavor. Firm tannins, but if you like a strong wine, this pleases on all sides. Not at all peppery or bitter.

The tasting room is closest to the ferry terminal, so those venturing over from Seattle without a car are in luck! Nice, friendly place with some great wines. My wife had a dessert wine flight, and found the chocolate cherry to be really great. It was so good that we're bringing a bottle of that back to Phoenix for a chilled delight on a colder winter night!

While in town, we visited for my birthday where we were greeted with an extremely helpful and energetic staff that ran the main first floor business (shout out to Christine who was absolutely wonderful and so welcoming). We were told that the upstairs rooftop would be opening at 3pm so we would need to order something downstairs and then we could go up after 3pm, which was no issue.

When we were done and ready to go upstairs, we were informed that we would need to close out and reopen a tab upstairs, however, we wanted to take up their in house deal to purchase 2 bottles of wine and get our flight ordered discounted (for free) from our total order. We had to wait a while while the downstairs staff were trying to figure out if we could do that and bring the bottles upstairs to drink. We were told that these were the “the same business” but also that they were “two separate businesses” because there was no staircase that connected them together on the same property so we couldn’t just transfer our tab and continue upstairs.

After a few minutes of waiting, we finally got an answer that we could close out with the bottles and the discount added and that they would cork one of the bottles so we could drink it upstairs. We understood and were very reasonable with all this.

Once we got upstairs, we were greeted with very nice staff and they did honor what was communicated and gave us two glasses for us to use. We then proceeded to order one of their charcuterie boards, which was the same one as listed downstairs, but was $10 more (around $45 after tax).

We were a bit shocked with the presentation of the board for the price we paid (see photos of what was served). When we asked the waiter why there was a difference in presentation and how substantial the cost difference was, they mentioned issues with using the same materials as downstairs and then they preceded to joke that it was a “premium rooftop price” that we were paying for and that they included special nuts that were locally sourced and expensive.

I did connect with the manager on duty and expressed my feedback - not looking at all for a refund - but letting them know the confusion, lack of communication, and overall presentation and what I was expecting wasn’t met at all. They were very understanding and eventually did give a refund.

I only share the above as a point of feedback to the business on the overall experience and areas of improvement, considering how much I was spending at their business.

We love this place - we come here once a month or so for a fancy appetizer & drink. A must try if you are in Bainbridge...

Saw this place from other reviews - it’s the BEST! The general manager helped - she was so nice! We had great wines - recommend the red flight 3oz - worked for 2 people and the cheese/crackers. Will absolutely return when we come back to Bainbridge!

Great atmosphere and kind service! Unfortunately, I haven’t found the wines to be the best.

Christine was lovely! Her knowledge and passion for wine was so clear to us and her charm was just the cherry on top. Great choices for both wine novices and connoisseurs, as well as some yummy snacking options too. Thank you for a great end to our day on bainbridge!!❤️

Beautiful rooftop in the summertime. Cheeseboards and live music occasionally

Excellent experience!!! On the first visit we tried the fruity wines and the cheese board, they were very delicious, we returned and tried the French Flight, which were also very good.

First visit to Bainbridge and after getting off the ferry wow so many people. Initially we walked past this place and visited the first shop after. Given the amount of people we backtracked to the tasting room for a drink and to let the mob thin out. Got a beer and wine flight. Did the trick. Nice to sit outside and relax / people watch.

Super awesome experience! Delicious wine and company. Wonderful to meet Sarah and Ingrid, who were not only super knowledgeable about the wines and cheese offerings but also provided some fun shop recommendations. ? Mahalo, Fletcher Bay Winery fam!

Was disappointed to learn that most of the fruit wines are only available by the bottle and aren't available by the glass or for a custom flight. We were 1 of two groups in the store and the other group was offered a sample of an unreleased wine but we weren't. The wine we had was good but definitely left feeling let down overall.

Partly by virtue of the weather (cold, rainy), we found ourselves visiting this place at 1 pm (2 hours before opening, mind you) on a weekday afternoon. We popped in, noticed the hours, and quickly decided we'd come back later. Staff was so gracious, though, as they offered to serve us despite not being technically open. We were so glad they did. We spent a good 90 minutes there, enjoying a couple of wine flights, and some delicious cheese, olives, and prosciutto.Everything we were served was top-notch, and service was outstanding. Our server/sommelier was informative and personable. If you find yourself visiting Bainbridge Island, make sure to pop into this tasting room. You'll be glad you did!
