My wife and I just ate here for her birthday. She had a cheeseburger and fries (with thousand island and ranch dipping sauces) and a small peanut butter shake. I had a wedge salad with bacon and double chicken (and blue cheese dressing). All of the good was great. My wife is a burger connoisseur, and this checked all the boxes for her. Not your typical burger joint—this place clearly stands out! The chef takes real pride in crafting high-quality, inventive, and absolutely delicious burgers (and now hotdogs too!). Make sure to save room for one of their milkshakes—they go way beyond the usual chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla, often featuring local, seasonal flavors and fresh fruits. Last time I was there, they had a fig milkshake on the menu, and I’m still kicking myself for not trying it.
Just had one of Hammy’s new hot dog specials, The South Ender. Right from the first bite, you know this isn’t your average street dog. The hot dog itself was juicy with just the right snap, but it’s the toppings that make it stand out.
