I rarely give revies but this place deserves one so you do not fall in a tourist trap. I have been living in BI for over 35 years and this place SUCKS..If you are looking for a decent burger, with lettuce, tomatoes, bun, and maybe some mustard or mayo, this is NOT the place to come. the burger is a "crush" i.e. cheap and thin as the welted lettuce it comes with, no mayo, no mustard and cold. This is not a one time occurrence, throughout the 30 years I have been in the island and coming to the pub, but now everything around food quality is now embarrassing.I have never eaten at McDonalds but I can't imagine being worse than this place. It is SO sad because this used to be a great place but since Covid it really sucks. My partner order a salad and some fries, as usual fries are soggy and the lettuce is old. There are other much better places in BI.

Ample serving of line-caught Cod with FF and cole slaw was a good choice.

Best oysters I have ever had! Super fresh and well prepared. The food came out quick for a Friday evening, service was exceptional even though the place filled up while we were there. The Mac and cheese with crab in it was delicious as well. The salmon fish and chips were good but not our favorite of the night. Would 100% eat here again!

The Pub is a nice place t o enjoy a drink with the beautiful food. They have adjusted a bit so the food and service has changed a bit. You seat yourself and order at the bar. The bar staff are always very nice and knowledgable The food varies bit but great if you're mainly there for drinks. The food quality is much better than some other places that offer bar food as it's not greasy or too salty. It is a great place to grab a drink with friends and enjoy the view of the harbor!Parking: There is parking but fills up quickly on busy nights so getting there earlier is recommended.

On an island surrounded by water (of course), there are only two restaurants that really have a view of it- Docs or Harbor House. I know, it is shocking and disappointing. At Harbor House, there is a small glimmer of the water from inside, but the patio is quite lovely and has full-to-partial views. These two restaurants are on the same street. Parking can be challenging at both. If you're able to, park farther away and enjoy the lovely walk down to the water, with an after-dessert hill climb/workout back to your destination.Anyhow....Doc's is a sit down establishment with $ mediocre food. Harbor House has switched to "order at the bar" service, which isn't super clear when you enter. If there is a line when you open the door, don't walk past it or look for a host stand because there isn't one. You are in the line to order at the bar, with no other signage indication. Also, once you get the front, the menu is a piece of paper that looks like a newspaper. It can be found laying on the bar usually and will need to be flipped open to view. Or just look online; if it's busy you'll have plenty of time. They also have weekly, creative specials on the chalkboard to your right.Perhaps the scavenger/treasure hunt vibe is intentional, but it seems to cause confusion more than anything. ?‍♂️ I hope reading this helps you out or helps the restaurant make some mods. The food I tried was definitely fresh and plentiful. My meal did arrive in a timely manner when the restaurant was at about half capacity. The wine and beer selections are thoughtful and include LOCAL crafters--- good job Harbor House! I can't wait to try more and will expand my review once I do.Lastly, the service was exceptional. Such a pleasant team and I appreciate them very much. Thanks for your smiles and kindness.

Nice little lunch spot with a great view! The food was very good..clams, fish and chips, salmon burger. I do wish they had a server, the whole order at the bar and pick it up yourself while still tipping 20% is kinda ridiculous. I had to bring all the drinks to the table, walk back to order food, pick up the food, get the condiments, and walk back to pay. There were 2 people working so they could have easily waited on the tables. Then I still tipped 20% and I’m not sure why because I did all the work. But even serving ourselves it’s still way better than Doc’s

An easy 5 stars to Harbour Public House. My wife and I make it a point to stop here every time we are in Bainbridge. Loads of super fresh seafood (and other options) indoor and outdoor seating with fire pits and amazing views of the bay. They were quite short staffed but as still produced great food, quickly and with smiles the entire time despite being busy. Great place to stop for a delicious and casual meal on the waterfront.
