9/12/26: On my way to the Bainbridge Quilt Festival, but hunger had me looking for breakfast first. I peeked into the first place I saw, Cafe Hitchcock. I was going to leave because I didn’t notice the menu card listing a few breakfast items. I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon & sourdough toast. Came here to eat local oysters and wine. They had a small wine list, only one red or white was sourced from Washington. It was good but pricey. The oysters were great at $3 a shell. The staff rarely came back while we were eating to check on us. Would probably not come again due to the price and the service.
Used to love it here but have been disappointed with the new menu. It is lacking all of the uniqueness that it once had and the dishes have been lackluster. Also really miss the Detroit-style pizza!
