I think the cinnamon sconut is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my life. The hot dog sandwich also amazing. Definite stop by during the weekday when the hot food is being served bc it’s out of this world amazing. Great convenience selection if you like fun candy

Be aware that the hot food is only Monday through Friday from 11-2. Cold food in the cases is available as long as the convenience store is open.
I don't write reviews often, but I had to give Jakes Pickup praise. One of the best burgers I have had in a long time. If you are a fan of burgers, you are missing out if you don't stop by jakes Pickup. I can't review there other menu options because I haven't had them but i am betting there good.

Showed up at 8:40 AM, no hot options. Paid $10 for turkey and mayo on some Dave’s killer bread.

This food is seriously the best! And they have a super cute kids book too! These locals are stellar people and work hard to make their menu items stand out. The macaroni salad is my absolute favorite! Definitely not something you will find near any other gas station! It's quality tasting ingredients with a homemade touch.
I went today and there’s no longer hot sandwiches. There’s no much info other than a fridge with premade sandwiches :(
Wish I got a chance to try their food. Says they are open until 9pm. Traveled 35 miles to eat here and they were closed by 6pm.
What once was a wonderful and welcoming place is now pretty stale and easy to forget. No more staff to welcome you. No more good hot food. No coffee. Plenty of cold stuff.
I only saw to go foods in a fidge, no hot serving ones. Potato salad has layers of flavor. Beef lasagna is tightly packed and has enough portion as an entree. Fast + quality + tasty.
