Love the warmth and quiet vibe of this place. Food and drinks were fantastic. Met the head chef Tim who is a super interesting guy and really made sure we enjoyed our evening.

Ok. First I have say the place itself has a wonderful atmosphere. Fireplace, decor... very nice.The sad thing is it couldn't make up for the poor service and one of the worst meals we have had in a long time. Very disappointing!!! I can't remember a meal at a restaurant that was more tasteless. cold, and nearly inedible.Go for a drink and enjoy the atmosphere but do yourself and your pocketbook a favor and skip the food.

Food was excellent, cocktails were great, service was not. There were two 4-top tables near the only 2 umbrellas on their patio. We weren't allowed to sit there since we were just a party of 2. The patio was dead, they could have easily separated the tables so we could sit there. Instead we roasted in the sun while both 4-top, shaded tables sat empty the entire time.The waitress was sweet but quite clueless. She couldn't answer most questions and forgot the details of my order. I asked for no pasta and extra broccoli I instead, noting I was trying to keep it healthier. She laughed with me. When I commented on the massive pile of pasta on my plate, she replied, "oh, you didn't want pasta?"I'll say it again, the food was excellent and the only reason I gave this place 4 stars

We have loved this local spot for years for its quality food, friendly and attentive staff and atmosphere and because it was one of the few restaurants on the island with any view of the water. Unfortunately, they are now allowing the shrubbery to obscure the view and the arrangement of tables is weird and does not capitalize on the view. Also, the flimsy, woven chairs are extremely uncomfortable. Sadly, we probably just won’t go there anymore.

The food was great and the service was friendly.We had a nice relaxing time.For an appetizer, we ordered the Giant Garlic Parmesan Twist. This is so good you might consider ordering two and make it your meal ?For my entree, I had the Dungeness Crab Arrabbiata - Spicy vodka sauce, Calabrian chili, basil, chives, Dungeness crab, pecorino. ***** five stars *****My spouse ordered Fettuccine Alfredo - Familiar alfredo sauce with fettucine. ***** five stars *****Between the appetizer and the entrees, we were too stuffed to order dessert. But everything on that menu looked delicious, too.Many thanks to the chef and staff!

Terrible customer service and very inconsistent food quality. When my daughter and I came in, host said we’d need to wait to be seated as the servers were busy. There were four tables with people and the rest were open - the restaurant was almost empty and there were two servers. I suggested we wait while seated rather than stand in doorway. I ordered kale salad and was told (second time this has happened to me) that there was no kale. This time, I ordered another salad that came so swimming in dressing that it was not edible. The server asked if everything was okay and when I told her I couldn’t eat the salad due to so much dressing, she said “oh” and walked away. When she brought the check she told me the chef apologizes, but there had been no offer to remake it and I was charged full price for it so not sorry enough to do something to fix the experience. Only reason I am giving two stars is that my daughter’s pasta carbonara was good.
