Food was excellent, cocktails were great, service was not. There were two 4-top tables near the only 2 umbrellas on their patio. We weren't allowed to sit there since we were just a party of 2. The patio was dead, they could have easily separated the tables so we could sit there. Instead we roasted in the sun while both 4-top, shaded tables sat empty the entire time.The waitress was sweet but quite clueless. She couldn't answer most questions and forgot the details of...
We have loved this local spot for years for its quality food, friendly and attentive staff and atmosphere and because it was one of the few restaurants on the island with any view of the water. Unfortunately, they are now allowing the shrubbery to obscure the view and the arrangement of tables is weird and does not capitalize on the view. Also, the flimsy, woven chairs are extremely uncomfortable. Sadly, we probably just won’t go there anymore.
