Mike’s vineyard is fantastic!! We happened upon it by accident and are *so* glad we ended up there. Enjoyed our tasting— wines are delicious— but the best part for us was Mike’s stories, insights, and all of the knowledge he shared. We walked out with 6 bottles and tasting fees waived. We would recommend anyone visiting Bainbridge stop by Perennial Vintners before jumping back on the ferry.
For $20 you get 5 nice size pours of different wines made from grapes on the property! Beautiful area! I had one of the best white wines I’ve ever had- the melon de Bourgogne, this is a must if traveling through are!! We went at 2 pm on a Sunday and at first we were the only people there. The owner was super knowledgeable and helpful!
Mike was fantastic. He gave us a history of Bainbridge island, told us about the origin of the vineyard, and the wine tasting was spectacular. My favorite was the Siegerrebe. If you want to support a local spot- this is it!
