Proper Fish is a popular spot with friendly service and great food. The fish portions are hefty and cooked perfectly, and the traditional fish & chips are a highlight—many find them amazing and very good. The chowder is fantastic, one of the best, and the lobster roll is good. The fried oysters may not be for everyone, but other dishes like the standard British fish and chips (fish 5/5, tartar sauce 5/5) and mushy peas are delicious. The indoor and outdoor seating options provide a clean and spacious dining experience, and the fish tacos and onion rings are loved. The British styled fish n chips are a great job in matching Britain’s, even down to the mushy peas. The lobster roll was delicious, and the generous lobster portion is to be expected. The chowder of the day was also delicious and filled with various seafoods. Perfect fish and chips are easy to recommend, with crazy big portions. The batter and fry was perfectly crispy, the fish fresh and juicy, and the fries were solid as well.
