This place will have a line out the door on a Tuesday because it is delicious, nostalgic, and worth the wait. Perfectly poached eggs, flavorful hashbrowns in large quantities, fresh vegetables, and excellent baked goods (especially the biscuits). Please do not show up hangry to our little island gem and complain when you can see the hardworking chefs going non-stop in full public view behind the counter. Locals have to wait too and we do so gladly.
We arrived late in the morning and got lucky there was a break in the busyness. We got our food fairly fast and happy to report tasty food overall. Wish I had more time to relax and enjoy this gem.
The food is well crafted and delicious. The portions are large and a good value for your money. Its a small diner, and since it's right after the ferry it gets busy. If there is a small line know that the team is focused on getting you in and served as soon as they can. We had the burrito, packed full of flavor, and the biscuits and gravy with hearty sausage gravy. Great items!
