I tried them twice and did enjoy the pizzas. Good, chewy sourdough crust, good sauce. But they could not get my order right. The first time they left the sausage off entirely yet charged me for it (strike 1). I told them about it when I placed the second order and they offered no rectification. (Strike 2) I ordered another sausage pizza and they have 2 kinds on the menu (Sausage and Italian sausage) I asked for the one with no spice. Sure enough red chili flakes in the sausage...
The Pizbom calzone! The crust wasn't too thick, there are lots of goodies inside, and being cooked in an old timey oven!? This was honestly probably the best calzone I have ever had in my life. 💯
Best pizza on Bainbridge if you ask me. Bene is a close second. My wife gets her sourdough starter from here. I guess the owner got it in Europe when he was in Pizza school there - it's a really old and hardy starter.
