The lobster bisque was warm, delicious, and had the perfect size lobster pieces in it. I sat at the bar, early in the day, and I enjoyed the conversation and company. Lovely people and they make a great cocktail too. Take note: when you park, you'll need to walk to the street side to find the entrance.
LOVE this place! My guy and I go there regularly and everything is always spot on— the burger, the steaks, the cocktails (Cheston is master mixologist and makes wonderful drinks) and the stellar service… what a wonderful, homey place that welcomes islanders as predictably as the lucky visitors who’ve stumbled upon this local charmer. The Islander offers a great atmosphere for dinner and drinks off the Main Street in Bainbridge. It’s small and quiet, perfect for chatting. Great menu, and select of wine, whiskey. A smaller selection of beer and cider. The food options we tried were excellent.
