this place just came under management of the former owners of the lovely Shop Agora in Seattle - everything is going Greek now and it’s fantastic. All the wines improved, great Greek food options now- hoping for outdoor fun this summer

The new owners previously owned Shop Agora in Seattle, which is one of the best Greek and European food stores. And the owners have brought that same spirit to the Marketplace. Incredible wines, delicious falafel, and perfect Halloumi fries. Couldn’t be happier to have them in the neighborhood 🙌🏻

Under new ownership the Market Place is alive and thriving again 🙌 providing a family focused gathering space with great food, personable service and genuine hospitality. A menu with something for everyone I highly recommend the avocado toast with pickled onions and fresh greens. My group of meat eaters enjoyed the breakfast option on thier choice if Cresent and sourdough.

We plan to make this a regular thing!
Highly recommend 👌 👍 👏

This place is really great under new stewardship. The food is great, especially...everything! Today I had a falafel which was perfect. It can be hard to order falafels in other places because they're often greasy & overcooked, but not here.

The food is authentic Greek (as is one of the owners!). Will definitely be back!

I grew up on the island and the marketplace has always been a staple of the local restaurant scene. I’m back from break for a couple of days and stopped in to see how it’s changed. The owners and employees really make you feel welcome in the space and I would highly recommend trying the flying pig sandwich special. Newly added to the menu, it holds an essence of flavor and creativity that I’ve been looking for for some time. Thank you Tim for the recommendation, I’ll definitely be back soon.

My husband and I enjoyed lunch on a very rainy day here today. We live on the island and have dined here a few times, but today was a pleasant day, as we met the new owner, Nikko! He took the time to come to our table and ask how everything was. How refreshing! John at the front counter was also very helpful and friendly.

I had a gyro pita, and my husband had the Flying Pig sandwich(?) Both were delicious!

We are really excited to see what the new owners do with this space, the food, the entertainment, and the wine bar and regular bar (open from 3-9 pm). The Marketplace has some new Mediterranean additions to the menu, and they have a nicely stocked fridge full of delicious Greek food like pita bread, feta cheese, etc.

If you haven't been here in a while, it's worth a visit--plus, the beautiful tulips should be blooming soon, and that's a not-to-miss opportunity to dine al fresco!

I love the atmosphere of this establishment. Patina shiplap siding surrounds the three of the interior walls. Hemlock car decking is angled overhead at a forty-five to support the vaulted ceiling and the floor of the second story. Windows are along the entire street side to provide light and scenic beauty from Lynnwood itself. The hardwood flooring - Douglas fir, I believe - is quaint and warm, not fancy but very effective. There is a multitude of local events, fundraisers, and business prospects stuck to every square inch of the bulletin boards to inform the public. Laid back art lines and fills close to every open space on every wall making a cozy ambiance.
Upon entering, I asked the apprentice bartender to make me a drink. I usually partake of cider or a gin and pineapple but the environment I was in necessitated a change. I asked him to make me a dry and bitter beverage; he thought for a moment, peeled a lemon, dipped a long spoon in a cherry jar, and put the largest ice cube I have ever seen in the glass. I'm not certain of the make up of the drink exactly so I dare not blaspheme. But he told me it was his own creation, he called it "The Fallout."
The staff at the marketplace are both cordial and efficient striving to serve every demand of their needy customers. As an example of they're hospitality, my mother joined our family - my uncle, wife and me - for some late night trivia on Wednesday night. She had been working as an able-bodied seaman aboard the Chimacum WSF all day. We were informed that the kitchen was closed for the night but as it happened the lead bartender approached my mother to let her know that they still had the ability to make flatbread. That night all of us were satiated by a warm meal - with premium ingredients - as well as entertained by the trivia.
I have never felt more welcome in a bar on Bainbridge as I felt on Wednesday night.
Last night, my wife and I returned as we were told there would be an open mic that night. Definitely less people than the night before but still pleasantly crowded. I was permitted to use an instrument provided by one of the locals. I was applauded for, shown smiles and even cheered for - it probably helped that there was a very close football game on in the background, but nonetheless. I felt a part of the community, yet again.
Thank you, Marketplace! I shall return and I know that I can expect to have a great night.

This has been my go-to spot for 4 years! I love this place. It is probably my favorite spot on Bainbridge Island for getting coffee and a quick bite to eat.

We ordered two of their breakfast sandwiches, served on a croissant. The croissant served was as flat as a pancake with the egg, bacon, and American cheese squeezed together inside! They stirred childhood memories of cow pies on my grandparents’ farm. It was 10:30 and they were out of all pastries. They gave us a metal stand with number and we put it on our outside table. Someone from the kitchen brought us the breakfast sandwiches but not our lattes. They forgot to tell us we needed to pick up the coffees ourselves! No one was there to identify which cooled-off latte was which!! It was an unpleasant experience!

Took a bike ride to Lynnwood and it’s totally changed! Love it! Had a frosted pinwheel and coffee. Saw others with yummy burgers. Going back soon.

We stopped in for breakfast while at the Inn. Tea selection is just Stash so didn’t bother. Staff were friendly. Servings were good sized for a breakfast sandwich and the avocado toast with egg. The eggs are made in some kind of form that just makes a big disk, which was funny, but worked! Tasted good, not what I would call gourmet, but a good solid breakfast option. Nice seating options.

No food after 3pm.It’s definitely not clear that you’re only supposed to order outside food from upstairs and not across the street. Happy to follow the rules if I knew about them ahead of time. If you’re not from Lynwood center, it’s not obvious that marketplace is affiliated only with certain restaurants and not others.Anyways the server shamed us and made us feel very unwelcome on trivia night. I’m 8 months pregnant and just wanted some pizza, didn’t really care from where. But the way we were talked to/treated makes me not want to come back
