their excellent customer service and selection is the best! I love the relaxed no hassle upbeat atmosphere, also it's easy to navigate the aisles - they keep plenty of room for shopping carts and don't clutter the aisles with cross-merchandising displays or pallets of product.

This listing is for the coffee bar at the Town & Country Market store on Bainbridge Island. It is located across from the self-checkout registers and right by the eastern store entrance. While the storefront is essentially a coffee stand, there is seating available right outside the store which is great when the weather is nice.

In addition to being a convenient place to stop for coffee while shopping at Town & Country, drink prices are very reasonable and it is not too crowded. The waiting time for drinks could be faster though. Nevertheless, if you are looking for a drink while visiting the main stretch of Downtown Bainbridge, I would recommend this spot.

We went to make salads for dinner. the lettuce was sad and there is not as many choices as before. I was disappointed there was no fake crab. What prompted this review was the pre-made salads on the salad bar. I got the asian noodles and peanut (not sure what is called). It tasted and smelled like it was going sour. i threw ot away. My husband got the orzo salad. it had no dressing and no taste. This is not the first time I have experienced no quality control at T&C. You would think that the price point would warrant a high standard. Guess not.

We went there yesterday. We come from Port Angeles via New York City. We always liked the uniqueness of this store, the quasi Zabar's look to it and the obvious pride in character that this store used to offer. We were very disappointed to learn that a huge very disorganized restaurant with bad coffee that took 30 minutes to get, had taken the place of the smaller and much better coffee shop at the other end of the store AND the wonderful deli and huge cheese counter in the round that had so many choices -- and to sadly find that the cheese and meat counters have been now relegated to being much smaller counters against the wall with much less uniqueness and selection. The wine section has also been decimated. This store has lost its personality -- its uniqueness -- long compartmentalized endless isles of freezers that fog up so you can't see anything and that look like Safeway or any other grocery store have replaced the open air character -- even the employees who normally looked fun and knowledgeable all wore more corporate looking black shirts with a boring T&C label many of whom looked like deer in headlights....like they started yesterday. Many of the unique items we go there for were stuffed away in corners where we couldn't find them or gone -- like they were not important anymore. Too bad. Very disappointed. The Central Market model obviously took more pride and priority for the items we travel there to get. Cutting your food selection and knowledgeable staff may initially help your margins, but not for long when you lose your high end customers.

I have been buying at T&C for over 25 years and the place is unrecognizable anymore. Yes one can still find some good stuff but you can tell someone is cutting corners in the quality of their products
